Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC)
After successfully hosting the AFSA International Aluminium Conference & Exhibition in Cape Town at Lagoon Beach Hotel in 2016, AFSA has decided to return to Cape Town for a bigger and better instalment of this premium event in 2022. The Conference will be held at the CTICC, nestled in the heart of the Cape Town city centre and within walking distance to the V&A Waterfront and world-renowned hotel brands surround it.

Things to do in Cape Town
While you are at the Conference, there are great activities for your partners and family to participate in, and you can join them to explore the magnificent city of Cape Town after you are done.
Good Weather Days
Beach days are the best. With “March” still warm enough to spend a day on some of the best beaches in the world. A quick uber or bus trip to Clifton or Camps Bay will not be amiss.
A trip up Table Mountain using the cable car, or for the more adventurous, a hike up to the top, will give the most spectacular views of the city and beyond.
Taste-testing at a few of the best wine farms is a treat. Many wine farms offer lunch or picnic options as well as tours of their whole wine-making process.
You will never forget a boat trip to Robben Island for a heritage tour, where Nelson Mandela spent many years of his life, or a close encounter with a great white shark in a cage diving experience.
If you want to take in the city from above, you can book a tandem skydive at one of their three Skydive Centers in Cape Town.
Learn to surf in easy waves in Bloubergstrand or enjoy watching the kite surfers while you enjoy a great meal or sundowners on the beach.
Bad Weather Days
The V&A Waterfront is a shoppers’ paradise with local and international shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Book your family and friends a game at Hint Hunt, the detective escape room located at the V&A Waterfront.
A wine farm visit won’t go amiss with a cloudy or rainy day.
